After years spent removing concrete, rip rap and glass from the river's edge, we saw a need for an activation event to create awareness of Portland's newest beach. And so the Tuesday Splashdown was born in July and August of 2025, bringing nearly 200 people to the beach to swim, eat, listen to music and hangout with friends. We will continue this program next summer. Stay tuned for more updates!
